About Jackie Sampson

I started at RMH Systems 24 1/2 years ago after working for the Howards in another company for 9 years, and I am the Inside Sales Coordinator for the Material Handling Division. I’m a small-town girl, so I commute 140 miles a day to work so that I can live in my hometown of Atlantic near family and friends. I have a Master’s degree (MBA) from Northwest Missouri State University. I’m a former athlete, which kind of plays into the relevance of my role of Inside Sales, as far as, I get kind of competitive in how much I can get covered, and I pride myself on being able to cover more than others can do. I am also an identical twin and am blessed that my sister (Billie Hoover) also works for RMH in our Scale Division.

I am married to Andre’ and we have two boys (Cole-15, Alex-13) – we’re usually chasing them ten months of the year in a swimming pool or on a basketball court or at the track, while we try to enjoy some of our own activities.

What excites you about working for RMH Systems?

There’s a lot that excites me about working for RMH Systems– the customers, the management team and the coworkers that I get the privilege of working with, and the great offerings that we get to present to our customers are just a few things. The fact that it is family friendly and we all get the opportunity to be an integral part of the team and truly feel valued is a big deal to me. We are all empowered to do our jobs to the best of our ability without a lot of oversight and the RMH philosophy of building long-term relationships and providing the right solutions for our customers instead of solely being focused on just a sale sets RMH apart from other companies. I also like how we are constantly being challenged to grow, to be able to cover more needs for our customers, and to do it better and faster than our competition.

I also like that RMH is a smaller company. There’s not a lot of levels, so we all have a key role to play to complete the team and it feels like working with family. Our Inside Sales team is an extension of our Outside Sales efforts and I really enjoy the fact that we get to interact with the customers and the vendors so closely on a daily basis. It keeps us challenged, but also gives us the opportunity to keep things together and be that conduit between the end user, our sales team, and the manufacturers and suppliers of the products and services we are recommending. The fact that over half our employees have been a part of the RMH family for 15+ years speaks volumes about the culture, the philosophy, and the expertise that RMH brings to the table.

Do you have a personal motto or mantra?

Get up every day with a smile on your face, do what you say you will do the best you can, and be honest and honorable at it.

Do you have a bucket list? What are some things on it?

Not really. There are a few things I’d obviously like to be able to go out and do, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a bucket list. Some wish list items would be to take my kids to Hawaii, go on that Alaskan cruise, and meet my husband’s family in Australia.

What is your favorite sport? What is your favorite team?

I love playing and watching Volleyball. I am a big sports enthusiast so I have a lot of favorite teams, but if I had to pick one, I would say the Golden State Warriors- KD rocks and I am a big Steve Kerr fan.
